Surface Go do have some appealing qualities to make that happen. It is also a fully functional 10-inch Windows computer that weighs under 2 pounds, even with its keyboard attachment. It also has the signature Surface hardware quality, including a hinge that props up the tablet at almost any angle.

Surface Go is also very thin; Microsoft advertises its ability to get into a purse. The Surface Go also features Windows Hello, it uses facial recognition to log users in. Notably, this is not available on iPads.

Introduction and Performance of Surface Go

Microsoft Surface Go is a cheaper and a less-powerful version of the Surface Pro. The tablet looks similar to the Surface Pro but is a bit smaller in size. There is the signature built-in kickstand and a front-facing camera to assist selfies and aid video calling. Also, there is the facial recognition feature and the tablet ships with Microsoft’s proprietary Surface Connector port for charging and connecting to a desktop dock.

The Microsoft Surface Go comes with 1.6GHz dual-core 7th generation Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor and 4GB of RAM, it promises smooth sailing.

Display and Storage

The Microsoft Surface Go features a 10-inch Full HD+ display & is paired with wide viewing angles. The tablet supports all of the split-screen and multitasking modes available in Windows 10. The bezels on the screen are large that aid a wider keyboard attachment.

In terms of storage, the tablet comes with a built-in 64GB eMMC storage space.

Platform and Connectivity

Out of the box, the Surface Go runs Windows 10 with the S mode. Thus, users can only have access to the Edge browser and the apps available in the Microsoft Store. Like other devices, Surface Go users can switch to the full version of Windows 10 for free.

For connectivity, the tablet comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and the company claims that the tablet can last for close to nine hours upon single charge.
