MeToo Movement Reaches Google, 13 Senior Managers Fired for Harassment

#MeToo Movement is gaining momentum as after Bollywood, Politicians and Editors, MeToo Movement Reaches Google also. Not just 13 Senior Managers but as many as 45 more Employees have been fired from Google over sexual harassment allegations in last two years. 

Google also paid Andy Rubin, the Father of the Android mobile operating system, $90 million after he left the company in 2014 over an allegation of sexual misconduct.

Google Pichai, the head at google said in a memo published.

None of these individuals received an exit package.

Rubin was one of three executives that Google protected over the past decade after they were accused of sexual misconduct.

In two instances, it ousted senior executives, but softened the blow by paying them millions of dollars as they departed, even though it had no legal obligation to do so.

The New York Times has also got the corporate & court documents.

It also spoke with more than three dozen current and former Google executives and employees about the episodes. Not only this but they spoke with some people directly involved in handling them.
