Apple provides older iTunes version for app deployment support for enterprises

Apple older iTunes version Re – Launched.
 Earlier today, Apple released a version of its iTunes app in store for the deployment and management of apps for their enterprise customers. iTunes app deployment support was not available but now Apple has initiated support for enterprise customers.

Apple has released a version of iTunes for enterprise customers that need to deploy apps within their business through iTunes.

iTunes version 12.6.3, features support for managing iOS apps within iTunes. As noted by Apple, this version of the app can be installed over a newer version like iTunes 12.7.

But that will stop the technical support from Apple as well as deployment of apps.

    From Apple: If you’ve already installed a newer version of iTunes, you can download this version of iTunes on your Mac, PC 32-bit or PC 64-bit and run the installer. After installation is complete, you can continue to deploy apps with iTunes.

Apple said that after installing iTunes 12.6.3,

You won’t be prompted to install newer versions of iTunes. It should be noted that Apple will not provide technical support for iTunes 12.6.3.

Recently, a couple of weeks ago of iTunes 12.7, the app for both Mac and PC saw the removal of iOS app management support.

The mainstream version of iTunes now focuses on media such as music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts.

Though support for iTunes backups continues.
