Apple iOS Update 11.3 brings Progressive Web Apps Support For iPhone and iPad

The Tech Giant Apple has recently announced about the Apple iOS Update 11.3 for its Devices. The latest update not just brings new set of features but also brings support for Progressive Web Apps Support on iPhone & iPad.

Apple added the support for this latest basic technology which is responsible for making the Progressive Web Apps (PWA’s) work.

Apple has not revealed much information about the change which comes along with the latest iOS 11.3 update.

More into the Apple iOS Update 11.3

After current update a user is free to download & install the PWA’s on their device without any specific requirement of any kind of permissions from App Store.

The report further suggests that PWA’s functions work with the help of Safari browser. It also means accessing geolocation data, sensors, camera, & audio output along with Apple Pay and more features.

The PWAs can store only 50MB of data offline & will not access FaceID, ARkit or integrate with Siri, which points out that the functions are limited.
